Account Executive, Digital Advertising Software Sales
We are expanding our software sales team and are looking for several talented account executives, experienced in positioning, selling, and helping to deliver marketing technology solutions to leading Internet publishers, portals, and other content site owners. The positions report to the Vice President, Sales. Full-time positions are available in the Washington, DC area.
Responsibilities
- Target and manage a specified market segment or territory of digital publishers
- Identify and develop a strong understanding of customers and their advertising needs
- Tightly manage a customer pipeline according to our structured sales processes
- Adapt and present company offerings (Powerpoint)
- Conduct product and service demonstrations
- Achieve targets for outbound lead generation, proposals, and sales contracts
- Work collaboratively with a high-energy, customer-focused sales team
- Support periodic marketing activities, including various industry trade show events
Qualifications
- At least 1-2 years selling marketing technology and/or digital advertising solutions to online publishers, social media companies, etc.
- Demonstrable record of managing staged sales process and achieving sales targets
- High-energy, proactive, and collaborative attitude
- Strong understanding and interest in Internet technology and digital marketing
- Functional use of Microsoft Office and CRM packages, such as Salesforce.com
- A 4-year college degree with strong written and verbal skills
